What is covered?
This exclusive Aero Teknic Inc two year limited warranty on a Garmin Portable GPS covers defects in materials and workmanship on units sold by Aero Teknic Inc, to end users, on a part-by-part basis.
This warranty is valid for Canadian residents only and is not transferable.
Applies only to new units sold between July 1st, 2009 and December 31st, 2009
What is not covered by this limited warranty?
Problems that result from:
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse, vandalism, theft, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, electrical problems or any other act of God.
- Damage caused by using accessories, parts or components not supplied by manufacturer
- Usage that is not in accordance with product instructions
- Product with missing serial number
- Purely cosmetic scratches, dents or similar damages
Note: All freight charges related to unit shipment from customer premises to
Aero Teknic Inc or returns are at customer charge.
What to do if ever an issue occurs?
Prior to sending us back the defective component, please call our customer service in order to discuss the matter. A troubleshooting will be performed over the phone and if the problem cannot be solved, we will issue an RMA number and the part will need to be returned to us. Any item sent without an authorization will be rejected at reception.
Once the problem is physically confirmed and cannot be fixed by us, we will immediately, at our discretion, send the component to Garmin for repair or send a replacement in new or refurbished condition.
